With all of the scientific advancements our generation has developed, animal testing is outdated, unethical and, because of this, it should be illegal. The purpose of animal testing is supposed to be to improve product safety for humans. This is why many people support the practice, but, in reality, results obtained from animal tests are inaccurate and stem from violent, fatal actions. There are many solutions to this issue that should be supported, such as alternative testing that does not involve animals, or the act of killing, and solely buying products from companies that are cruelty-free. The reason that this topic is so important is because every human, male or female, uses products without knowing what is in them, the harm those ingredients cause animals in experiments, and the harm they can potentially cause humans.
